Weekend Specials

Eggy aubergine with noodles…

This is something I saw on Korean TV that I have wanted to try. It is actually really yummy and easy to make. Just dip thinly sliced aubergine in egg, fry it and season it with salt. If you don’t want to season it with salt can always dip it in soy sauce when eating.

I saw a rainbow when I woke up this morning.
And I felt thankful because 2009 has been a year I have seen countless rainbows. I wonder if perhaps they have always been around but I never noticed them.

I love the Japanese word ありがとう (arigato) much more than the Chinese word 谢谢(xie xie) The former just feels much smoother to write. Maybe I just can’t write Chinese very well. I find the edges too sharp. I can’t write it sharply as it should be and my hands tremble. Perhaps I just need to practise more.
I think saying ‘Thank you for the love.’ is so much more meaningful than saying ‘I love you.’ The former just has more depth than ‘I love you.’

Currently reading Blink. Got to love the power of thinking without thinking! Some things you just know…
