Lately I have been meeting a lot of overseas Chinese (ie Chinese people from all over the world, from China, HK, Vietnam, Mauritius, Malaysia etc). People who share simmilar experiences to me. People who feel the same as me. People who understands how I feel about many things. It touches me to know I am not alone. These old friends (and some new friends) all feel the same like me with a yearning to go back home. Its amazing that we all feel the same despite being so different, among us there are singles, people in long term relationships, newly engaged, amazing mothers...and yet we all feel the same. Although our reasons may not always be the same but deep down we all understand how it feels to be away from home and the good and bad that awaits us back home. Whatever the future holds we are all hopeful of good times to come.
