Scaterbrainess

On Sat I had to carry some flower pots from the house into the garden and I stupidly locked myself out of the house!
My housemate did that just last week and I thought to myself 'She is more scatterbrain than me!'

Thank God the window in my room was opened

So there I was in my pyjamas trying to climb into my room at 8am on a Saturday morning
Hopefully no one saw me

The cupboards are filled with noodles of all sorts now
And just opening the cupboard fills my heart with joy and happiness!

Looking Back

3 years ago

Sometimes when we look back at life, we realised that life has been pretty amazing!

Hopefully 3 years from now when I look back at life now, I will feel the same way I am feeling now!

When The Wheel Stops Spinning.

There is no bigger problem in life that life itself.

The dream..
I dreamt I was by this blue sea. I was sitting near a grey bridge. It was warm and sunny. I took off my shoes and felt the cold water. A girl dived into the sea from the bridge. I wish I could take the plunge and swim out into the ocean like a fish…

Lately I have been bogged down by ‘work’ problems.
Never ending…
Starting to doubt myself…

But when I sit back, I realise that problems are part and parcel of life.
We can’t avoid it.
I have been lucky to not have that many problems until recently.
As it is unavoidable, we can only do our best and be brave.

They say life is like a wheel.
There are times when you are on top of the wheel like you are on top of the world.
Other times you are crushed at the bottom of the wheel.

The wheel spins and spins.

I guess I am at the bottom of the wheel at the moment.
Feels like the wheel is not turning and I am trapped at the bottom.
Guess I just got to be patient and wait for the wheel to turn again.

Connected Again

I had a great short weekend in London last week.
The feeling was up up up when I was there.
Then when I had to get the train back, my heart dropped.
Felt like I was falling down down down…

I love London.
I love the busyness.
I love the cosmopolitan feel of it.

Perhaps it was great because I am just passing by for the weekend.
Perhaps it won’t be so great if you live there 24x7.

The only thing I don’t like about London is the crowded tube.

Waiting for the next tube because we couldn't squeeze into the last one.



I will probably just walk around London if I am living there instead of taking the tube.

Felt warm and happy just being surrounded by people who mean the world to me.

Watched a Japanese movie, with Ef and Aa. Can’t remember the title of the movie, something Strawberry Shortcakes.

There was a papa who brought her little girl to watch the movie and had to leave when he realised the movie is not one for little girls even though the title sounds cute.

The movie is about the lives of 4 women in Tokyo. Very explicit stuff.
I quite like it. It is not a feel good movie or a sad one. I wasn’t even sure how I felt at the end. Definitely not one for little girls.

Also discovered this amazing Japanese place in Picadilly Circus.



People normally look quite ugly when they eat but not Ef.
She still looks quite cool.



Wish I had a sister..


Also had the nicest dim sum ever in Canary Wharf. The restaurant is by the river. Very nice ambience. Thanks to my lovely cousins for bringing me there. Absolutely love it.

I also finished reading this book Kitchen by this Japanese author Banana Yashimoto. It is a very short book and I love it. Like really really love it. It has been a while since I read a good book or a book for that matter. I felt I accomplished loads over the weekend. I even lost my Wii virginity. Wii is just absolutely amazing!!! If only life is a Wii…

I miss London and all the amazing people there.
It was wickedy!

Gave up packing and watched this on telly with Ef yesterday.

It is predictable but I quite like it.

I didn't know that lilies meant 'I dare you to love me.'
I love lillies and lotuses.They are my fave flowers.
Now that I know what lilies mean I google to try to find out what lotuses mean. It means estranged love. How exciting if I ever get that combination of flowers.

Idiot Taxi Man

I was in a car accident a few days ago.
Was in my friend's car and we were going to get some dinner.

The car in front stalled at the green light and the taxi behind just crashed onto us, and we went forward and hit the car in front.

It happened so quickly. I was more shocked than anything else.
I am not injured or anything. Just a bit stiff neck.
But my two lovely friends in front are now in agony with back pains.

After the accident, my friends were calling and getting calls from their loved ones.

And I just thought to myself 'Who can I call?'
I really, really wanted to call dad.
But it was probably like 3am in the morning.

So I didn't call anyone.
Plus it wasn't serious anyway.
Actually I didn't know who to call or who I can call.

Slowly losing touch with my family, my friends....
Lost in my own little world.
